Full Corn Moon in Pisces

Tonight's moon will be full at 10:22pm PST, and you may notice that it's sitting in the constellation of Aquarius. This year we have a Corn Moon because the moon that falls closest to the autumnal equinox (called the familiar Harvest Moon) will be in early October.

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, this month's moon is also called
◦Barley Moon
◦Moon When the Plums are Scarlet (Lakota Sioux)
◦Moon When the Deer Paw the Earth (Omaha)
◦Moon When the Calves grow hair (Sioux)

A full moon in Pisces is a dreamy and sensitive moon, heightening our psychic abilities and magnifying inner truth. And this one will also be opposing Uranus retrograde, giving us a deep awakening to what is in our own “underworld”—the things we don’t want to look at—and offers the opportunity for a new perspective. With everything that's happened so far in 2020, this moon will illuminate what and how we need to psychically and spiritually shift to be in alignment with our higher truths, and how to take action from a place of deep connection to spirit.

To honor this moon and yourself:
◦Spend time in or near water—take an epsom salt bath while you rub your feet, sit by a body of water and contemplate stillness or currents, or just make the choice to stay super hydrated!.
◦Embrace the constellation of Aquarius by reaching out to loved ones, engaging in a creative hobby, choosing to become involved in a new (to you) way.
◦Enjoy fresh, local produce: sweet corn, plums, berries, cherries, etc.

Some thoughts for this moon: How have you cultivated your intuition in the last month? Have you given yourself ample rest? What tenderness can you offer to your feet, toes? How can you support your pineal gland?
